For this REU program, Stanford will pay for travel, tuition, and registration. Housing is also provided at Stanford. And yes, all REU students, no matter from Stanford or PKU, will be paid by the same amount of stipend. It is indeed a great deal. That’s why it is a very popular program even among Stanford students.

请同学们提交申请时（申请表和家长同意书在院主页“最新动态”及“本科生动态”的相关消息的附件中；或在“下载”中“旧版”的“本科生暑期实践活动”中），提交个人简历，1-2封推荐信，和一个800字左右Statement of Purpose.

Statement of Purpose:The word count limit of this essay is 800 words. The student may consider the following two questions while writing the statement of purpose:"Why do you apply to this program?""What unique contribution can you bring to the project/lab?"

个人简历，推荐信和SP均要求英文书写。推荐信可以为纸质版，个人简历和SP均要求电子版。
