摘要：
Associate Editor of Nature Protocols, Rupa Sarkar, will provide a discussion on the Nature-titled journals and the importance of methods and protocols. My personal background is in stem cell biology, molecular biology and disease animal models however I will be representing the whole journal which is multidisciplinary, publishing protocols used to answer outstanding biological and biomedical science research questions, including methods grounded in physics and chemistry that have a practical application to the study of biological problems.
主讲人简历：
Rupa Sarkar obtained her PhD from Imperial College London where she investigated the role of microRNAs in human embryonic stem cell growth and differentiation under the guidance of Dr Nick Dibb and Prof Robert Winston. Rupa did her post-doctoral research with Profs. Charles and Leslie Rogler at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. During this time, she investigated the role of small RNAs in the human developmental disorder, Cartilage Hair Hypoplasia. Following her return to the UK, Rupa joined Nature Protocols as an Associate Editor in October 2015.
