Dr. Frank Hu (胡丙长)is Chairman of Department of Nutrition, Professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Hu received his medical training from Tongji Medical College in Wuhan, China and PhD in Epidemiology from University of Illinois at Chicago. His research is mainly focused on nutritional and lifestyle epidemiology and prevention of cardiometabolic diseases, gene-environment interactions, and nutritional metabolomics. He has published numerous high-impact papers (H-index 210) and a textbook on Obesity Epidemiology (Oxford University Press 2008). Dr. Hu was elected to the U.S. National Academy of Medicine in 2015.
